Therapist | Educator | Clinical Supervisor | Social Worker dedicated to fostering liberation and healing in my practice. As co-owner of The Expansion Collective, I'm proud to lead a progressive, anti-oppressive group practice committed to dismantling barriers to care. My clinical work centers on complex trauma and sex therapy, informed by a deeply holistic and trauma-informed lens. My commitment to the field is continuous, driven by ongoing learning and a dedication to advancing social work with integrity and compassion.
Training, Education, & Experience
I approach therapeutic work with a deep commitment to ongoing learning and holistic, individualized care. My foundational education includes a BA in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and a Master's degree in Social Work, complemented by a graduate certificate in e-Social Work, both from IUPUI.
My progressive clinical training is extensive, reflecting a dedication to cutting-edge and inclusive modalities:
Specialized Sex Therapy: AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. Completed training through the Sexual Health Alliance, alongside certification in Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM).
Somatic & Trauma-Informed Methods: Certified in Somatic EMDR through The Embody Lab and Brainspotting certified.
I continually expand my knowledge through diverse continuing education, including treating out-of-control sexual behaviors, body-sex, sex and psychedelics, anxiety, and comprehensive perinatal mental health support (including pregnancy, postpartum, and paternal mental health/fatherhood). My commitment is simple: to always learn more so I can best support my clients' unique journeys.
Beyond my direct clinical work, I am deeply dedicated to mentoring the next generation of clinicians and progressing the field of social work.
My commitment to this mission is demonstrated through my roles as:
Group Practice Owner: Building an environment that fosters progressive, accessible, ethical, specialized therapeutic care.
Clinical Supervisor: Providing guidance and mentorship to emerging clinicians.
Adjunct Professor: Educating future social workers on modern, holistic, and trauma-informed practices.
